With the Rochester Curriculum, there are no general education requirements and no traditional “core” curriculum. This level of flexibility means most students find they have time to double major, study abroad, conduct research, take music lessons, lead teams or clubs, or give back to the community.
Beyond our flexible curriculum, our Take 5 and e5 programs offer students a fifth year tuition-free to study what they love and pursue broader academic interests.
77% of our undergraduate students pursue research – opportunities and financing research are extensive from the beginning of freshman year and can include independent projects as well.
