Sacred Heart University is a private, Roman Catholic university, located about 50 miles northeast of NYC in beautiful, quaint Fairfield, CT. SHU offers over 50 majors in Healthcare professions, Business, Technology, Arts and Sciences, Communication and Education with an emphasis on dual degrees in Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, Speech Pathology and many others. Our new residence halls, hockey arena, Healthcare education building, and rec center are just a few reasons to visit our beautiful state of the art campus. SHU also offers a beautiful campus in Dingle, Ireland. With 34 Division 1 athletic teams on campus and 36 club teams, school spirit abounds! SHU is ranked 10th in the Nation for students involved and engaged in community service. Giving back to community is all important to our students, along with supporting our teams, performing and theatre arts groups and campus ministry projects.
