Points of Pride

  1. Baylor gained R1 status which is the highest ranking awarded by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. The rankings are based on particular benchmarks in research activity, such as the number of research doctorates awarded and the amount of money allotted to research at an institution.

  2. Dr. Pepper was invented in Waco, and every Tuesday, we have free Dr. Pepper floats for our students to take a break and hang out with friends and professors.

  3. Our first-year students get to run across the football field before every home game and then sit right on the 50-yard line to cheer on the team.
