The American University of Paris (AUP), established in 1962, is an independent and international liberal arts university in France. Located in the heart of Paris, AUP is perfectly situated to help students embark upon an academic journey of discovery. AUP provides a learning experience that places personal, intellectual, and professional development at its core. Students can choose from 27 undergraduate majors and five core fields of graduate study, all taught in English. AUP students are those that choose to live and learn internationally. Points of Pride

  1. AUP welcomed the largest entering class ever in Fall 2022 - over 600 students! 

  2. Monttessuy Center for the Arts (AUP’s newest building) is a hub for artistic life on campus, complete with wall space for exhibiting student art, two major art studios with high ceilings and natural light, and AUP’s first theater, which includes 70 seats. 

  3. Global Professional Skills (GPS) invites students to create a co-curricular record by participating in professional, personal, leadership, and cultural fluency activities that boost career prospects.
